Police Finish Big Car-Wounded Buck

This car-struck buck, wounded near Kaukauna, Wisconsin, was put out of its misery by a Kaukauna police officer. Details weren't available as to who ended up with the rack, or whether the venison was donated.

That is a shame the buck got hit by a car, but at least he didn't have to keep suffering!

The Officer did the right thing. However, I didn't think it was appropriate of him to take a photo of himself with the buck and his shotgun, posing as if he were sitting behind HIS trophy.
At the very least, he should have left his gun out of the photo. Bad PR if you ask me.

Looks like a tactical rife to me but definitely agree Jerry...seemed inappropriate to me as well.

Not only is it a tactical rifle but it looks as if it was a SWAT operation with the shades and steely demeanor.I wonder if that rack will end up on the front of his cruiser.
